DMCA & Intellectual Property Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2026

GODS™ respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect users, manufacturers, researchers, and partners interacting with the Platform to do the same. This policy describes the procedures for submitting copyright concerns and addressing intellectual property issues involving materials displayed on or submitted to GODS.com.

GODS™ may display certain third-party materials, including product names, brand names, manufacturer names, product images, packaging images, ingredient information, scientific references, and publicly available product information for purposes including product identification, scientific analysis, comparison, education, and research.

All content, trademarks, logos, brand names, product names, and copyrighted materials displayed on GODS.com remain the property of their respective owners. The display of third-party intellectual property does not imply:

  • Ownership by GODS™
  • Affiliation with the manufacturer
  • Sponsorship
  • Partnership
  • Authorization
  • Endorsement

unless explicitly stated.

GODS™ may reference commercial products and publicly available information for purposes including:

  • Computational analysis
  • Scientific comparison
  • Educational discussion
  • Research evaluation
  • Product identification

The use of product names, trademarks, or descriptive information for these purposes is intended to support transparency and scientific evaluation and does not create confusion regarding ownership or affiliation.

If you are a copyright owner or authorized representative and believe material displayed on GODS.com infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA notification. A valid DMCA notice should include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material
  • Information sufficient for GODS™ to locate the material
  • Your contact information
  • Your physical or electronic signature

A copyright infringement notice should include:

  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law
  • A statement that the information provided is accurate
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  • Your physical or electronic signature

DMCA notices should be submitted to:

  • GODS™
  • Attn: DMCA Copyright Agent
  • Email: [insert email]
  • Mailing Address: [insert official mailing address]

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notification, GODS™ may:

  • Review the complaint
  • Remove or restrict access to allegedly infringing material where appropriate
  • Notify affected users or contributors when applicable
  • Take additional actions required under applicable law

GODS™ reserves the right to evaluate each claim individually.

If a user or contributor believes material was removed or restricted due to mistake or misidentification, they may submit a counter-notification. A valid counter-notification should include:

  • Identification of the removed material
  • The location where the material appeared before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification
  • Contact information
  • Consent to applicable legal jurisdiction
  • Physical or electronic signature

Trademark owners who believe their trademarks are incorrectly displayed, misidentified, or used in a misleading manner may submit a written request for review. Requests should include:

  • Trademark ownership information
  • Description of the concern
  • Specific GODS™ location or URL
  • Supporting documentation

Where appropriate, GODS™ may

  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Update product identification
  • Clarify attribution
  • Modify displayed materials

A complaint regarding an unfavorable computational evaluation, product score, ranking, or scientific interpretation does not by itself constitute copyright infringement. GODS™ distinguishes between:

  • Intellectual property concerns
  • Scientific disagreement
  • Computational methodology disputes
  • Product evaluation disagreements

Scientific disagreements are handled through the GODS™ Manufacturer Correction, Scientific Review & Dispute Policy.

GODS™ is committed to maintaining an open scientific environment. Manufacturers, researchers, and stakeholders are encouraged to provide:

  • Scientific publications
  • Mechanistic evidence
  • Quantitative data
  • Product information updates

Scientific feedback may help improve GODS™ models and may result in updated computational analyses where appropriate.

Where appropriate and required by applicable law, GODS™ may restrict or terminate access for users who repeatedly submit infringing material.

GODS™ may update this DMCA & Intellectual Property Policy as the Platform evolves. Updates become effective when posted on GODS.com.
